I'm 72, and I'm learning AI. You can too.

I help people over 50 learn AI without the tech overwhelm. Plain English, one small step at a time.

AI-generated portrait of me. Yes, I made it while learning AI!

I'm Carla. A grandmother of two, living in Alaska.

For 20 years, I worked in mortgage and title. I had a plan.

At 71, my job ended earlier than I expected. And the plan changed.

So I started learning something new, and I'm sharing every step with you.

My journey

No tech background, no big following, no head start. Here's how it's actually going.

  1. 20 years

A career I worked hard for

I spent two decades in the mortgage and title industry. I planned to work two or three more years, pay off my car and my mortgage, and retire feeling secure.

  2. Age 71

    The plan changed

My job ended sooner than I expected, and my retirement savings weren't going to be what I'd hoped. I'll be honest: that scared me a little.

  3. Two months

    Watching before leaping

My niece introduced me to online business. I didn't jump in. I spent almost two months watching videos and researching before I decided to give it a try.

  4. From scratch

    A whole new language

ChatGPT, AI tools, Reels, social media. I had to learn all of it, and some days it felt like a new language. But I kept going, asked for help, and took it one step at a time.

  5. Today

    Learning and sharing

Now I use AI every day, and I share what I learn in plain English with people who feel the way I did at the start.

If you're over 50, AI is for you too.

  • Maybe you've heard about ChatGPT but don't know where to start.
  • Maybe the tech words make your head spin.
  • Maybe you're worried you've waited too long.

You don't have to be young, and you don't have to be good with technology. You just need someone to explain it in plain English, one step at a time. That's what I do.

I'm still learning too.

I'm not a tech expert. I'm a grandmother who decided to figure this out. When something confuses me, I work through it, and then I share the simple version with you.

No jargon, no pressure, and no question is too basic.

You don't have to figure it out alone.

When I started, I felt like I was learning a new language. Asking for help changed everything. Now I share what I learn, so you don't have to start from zero.
